Nashville Tornado Watch Canceled; Fortunately, No Major Damage Occured


National Weather Services Lifted the he tornado watch for Middle Tennessee area earlier this morning.

While there were scattered outages around the Davidson County because of the storm, as depicted in the Nashville Electric Service's online outage map online - with about 1800 customers with out power in  areas north, south and west of downtown because of the stormy weather but no tornadoes were reported. National Weather Services Meteorologist Trebor Boucher said that there was no major structural damage  occurred in the Middle Tennessee area.

as reported by the Tennessean, there were some trees down in the Clarksville area. In addition, a carport was damaged. The Tennessean also reported that the area between Dickson and Charlotte in Dickson County was the worst impacted.
